exhaust knocking

right i habe a ktec stainless steel exhaust system on my clio but it keeps vibrating on my rear axel. what can i do to stop this. tried repositioning it and thats fine until theres not enough exaust in da middle section and it falls off. lol. can i bang it with a hammer to place a dent in the exhaust where it vibrates, like the original exhaust or is this not advised? cheers matt
