Yes, it's time for another of those threads where I ask you to show me your best 'exhaust pose' pictures.

The aim of this exercise is for me to decide on what sort of tail pipe I go for. I think I know already...but I just cant make my mind up :(

It looks like Pro-Speed in Wales are going to be busy making up a 2.5" exhaust, and if all goes well, a phat downpipe for a 4-2-1 Megane manifold I bought last week and had sent to Mr Stan at APD.

I'm thinking of a straight cut piece of pipe without inward or outward rolling on the lip, but it may be too hard looking...I like my exhausts to be tidily tucked into the bumper too, so no shots with people pipe hanging off the end with cable ties please!

I had formerly a genuine backbox with a straight cut stainless steel tail pipe (85 mm diameter, no rolling lip):

I think it was a bit harsh for my Williams. (by the way this backbox is for sale, it's in very good condition).

Later I bought a Devil backbox (90 mm diameter tailpipe) from Summeh. In my opinion this one fits awesome, tidily fills out the hole of the bumper (and sounds very good).

So, if I were you, I would use a 90 mm tail pipe with inward rolling on the lip.

You know, I had that backbox in my own hands a few times!

Actually it looks good and I am glad to see you have positioned it well.

Really? Good to know! :) It got a minor refurb before mounting.

Thanks! The backbox replacement was a nightmare... took 3 afternoons. I had to modify a bit the hanging bracket and the U-bend pipe :S. But now it's good and there is no knocking sound. :)

Northy: What type of Devil have you got on the Cup?

Yes, it looks different to Yanoo's. Straight pipe cut instead?

Northy, can you do me a favour mate:

Can you provide a view from the rear to see the pipe exit a bit more, like this:

That'd be grand!

Must get this right as I don't change exhaust often!
