HI all,
Can any 1 help with my bosch ABS unit/system. The light on the dash is always showing. I have checked all 4 resistances on all 4 corners of car. Fronts are 1.57 to 1.61 and rears are 1.08 to 1.1. Is this usual to have different resistances front to back??? What are the correct book readings????? At the ABS unit I stripped the plug and these readings were the same there and the unit is getting power. What do I do next??? Any suggestions of any known faults???? Need answers ASAP as need to book car for MOT

Thanks,

Ian

Have you checked the rings?

My ABS light started to come on when the car was hot many years ago. When I looked it was the protective covering of the wires was a little exposed and water/moisture got onto them and as it heated up resistance built and the light came on. I'm sure this is not the case but maybe quickly worth checking. Some new wire protection solved my problem.

disconnet and reconnect every joint from the sensors. One each side at the front - then a pair under the car near the drivers rear seat

Do you have a fuse in the fuse panel ?
