Will be a great project! Almost sad to say mines almost finished totally other than bodywork and a few bits.

it's so satisfying to see the transformation.

i'm in two minds though...do i wait patiently until i find complete set of OE 'Williams' and '3' decals (at a fair price) or do i use replicas?

I can get the 'Williams' ones from renault but not sure about '3'.

There are a ton of threads on decals. Some are pretty darn good, others appear to be efforts by chimpanzees with some crayons.

My Willy1 replicas were 'slightly' out compared to OE, but you would never notice.

The ones they have there are not in-filled. I think the 3 ones were sposed to be filled. Drop the people there a line and ask if they are or not and if not ask if they can do them (give them some pics of the right ones).

They had already adjusted mine based on WC members help

I think 3's look the best in Monaco blue. The 1's and 2's can often look a little flat.

i agree, although i have seen some 1's painted in monaco blue and it looks completely wrong, how so?
