got back home a couple hours ago after seeing the rain is not
going to stop :?

had 2 great sessions in the morning though , not a single drop of rain :P
my mates civic done really well untill he blew a driveshaft at the end of
2nd session . it was his first track day and only found out a week ago
that he will be going on the track (surprise buttseks :D )

met/had a chat with a few people from clio16v
and cs (you know who you are !! :wink: )

managed to get passenger rides in the civic and my mates
renault 5 cup car running 15psi :P
both very fast cars indeed .

was a great day either way , loved it all the way 8) 8)

basically as im a complete knob...

as the track car is dead i took the daily valver, never took into consideration she doesnt have a heatshield so in short i cooked the throttle cable and melted the metal inside so the cable went stiff and the pedal wouldnt move :oops:

haha is that all, Just heat the cable back up by leaving the engine running and it will destick itself.

U have to keep it warm though once its gone :wink:

i do feel a tad stooopid, if a MK1 is going home on a recovery truck could have at least been something substantial like gearbox failure!!

the cable was knackered it had melted into a mess inside the rubber, but we live and learn!!

briefly chatted about it ,but why not get a longer cable (19 16v)and route

lol...i did this with mine on the rollers when it was getting mapped....


had to rig up an old mini choke cable to the throttle body and get mandy to accelerate with his hand from the pass seat to drive home....was fukkin hilarious lol
