i have been told that the alternator may have a slow burning fuse in it?
is this true?
what the heck is a slow burning fuse! isn't that something you put on a stick of dynamite in the wild west?
i'd give mat brown a call and grab a second hand one, valver one fit as well but think they are slightly lower rated, although i could be wrong!
i run a renault 19 16v one on the williams, its fine and fairly ancient as well but cost me nowt so cant complain :D
i found a clio 1.9 diesel recon one for mine for £50 its 90 amp rated and its a tight fit but does fit, and works fine, if you get one make sure it rated 90 amps or more....
slow burning fuse i think your getting confused!!! i think you mean it has brushes which wear.
