URGENT MAY NEED TO RETURN PARTS BY MON. Valver/willy rack

Right peeps,

I have just bought some new steering arms for the car as i was going to change the arms for williams ones and use my valver rack as it is in good condition.

Received them and went to renault to check that they were the williams ones and not the valver. The valver arms and williams arms are exactly the same part number so therefore same part. Am i being thick. Do i need to just change the track rod ends for williams ones to get the extra length?

I think i may be getting confused with what people call them.

What i call them is rack in the middle.

Either side are the arms

Then the track rod ends screw onto the arms and bolt up to the hub.

Can someone please confirm that i only need the track rod ends to get the williams widetrack as i need to return the arms if this is the case.

Pic nicked of Foxy thanks mate. Below this is my interpretation of what the parts are called. Please tell me what needs to be replaced on a valver rack to achieve a williams rack so i can run the 172 widetrack

some people call them track control arms the centre section, o and they should be different due to the track difference
