Hi everyone im new to the world of clios and bought my first williams 3, 2 weeks ago with no mot thinking i was having a good deal, only to find that the sills needed welding for the mot. So Needed less to say i was a bit gutted so went out a bought a really clean one with full service history and a years tax and test. Now i dont know what to do with the first car. Do i sell it or keep it for spares. The car drives tidy and now has 12 months mot, but are they worth more in spares as i dont know how reliable they are? Any comments or help would be great

If you have the space - Keep the 1st car and get the sills done. Then you can sell it on complete. The 3's are the rarest williams of the group.

The sills have been welded and its past the mot, Id have to tax it to keep it as i got no off road parking. Why are the 3s the rearest?

they imported the least 3's out of the 1s and 2's.

Plus i rarely see a nice willy 3 out there. This is down to the 3's being worst with corrosion.

I would get it back up for sale if you dont have space to store it.

I'll give you "£100" for it.

sounds like a sell on job mate, presume if you dont have off road parking you aint got space to break it and see for spares either?

Will get it cleaned up and back up for sale then. Is there any reason the 3s rust worst than than the rest? Thanks for everyone quick replys.

Also what mods are the best for a williams?

end of production run, think maybe moved production or something to allow main factory to fit out for mark 2 production, used thinner than normal steel as well i believe and poor quality control. you find a lot of the late m to n plate valvers are the same
