Selling the Nava just isn't cost effective for the money you've spent on it plus the bits it has ie brakes and WIlliams track.
A better idea IMO would be to swop the bits from the hybrid to the nana that you want ie interier. Then get some soft springs for the coilovers.
You admitted yourself that the hybrid isn't as fast as the Nana seels a terrly shame to sell the faster car.

Buy a half decent Williams....drop the Nana's tuned lump in....put the standard lump in the Nana....sell the Nana and new one....and go back to Williams ownership.....power, comfort and the thrill of owning a Williams again..... :D

Think is he already has the nana with full williams spec suspension.
Martin how about buying the WIlliams back for £3.5k sticking the nana bottom end on it and the interier back in then you've got it all.

tbh I'm swaying towards keeping the nana...selling my blue hybrid on and getting something cheap to go to work..

The Hybrids cheap enough as it is and if its reliable then why not keep it.
Least keep it till a belt/ major service comes up then flog it for almost what you paid for it.

I will have to admit, after owning teh banana i fekin love driving this 106GTI. only mod is lowered suspension by pug sport, so its pretty much completely standard.

its nice and comfy, quiet, practical, nice sounding stereo etc.

If I had the banana i'd have to have another car to knock about in and the banana for fun! the small fuel tank used to do my scone in filling it up every day and noisy etc!!

if you put full leathers in it, stereo, etc then it will only slow it down anyways, so pointless!

Thing is a lot of money spent on banana was spent by previous owners, and then everyone whos owned it has added a bit more to it! so if you did sell it, its not like your loosing a lot of money on engine conversion, respray, tank, seats, brakes, etc, etc! just the bits you've added!

it is a top car though, i would be tempted to buy it back if i had the spare cash! :)
