Mate, there must be a TON of Willy owners nearby who can help you out and have it done in under a day. Only thing you have to think about is whether to get the head skimmed etc or just stick in a new gasket/headbolts and cambelt tbh.

Whats it leaking?
Water out of the back corner is a common problem, if it's oil i doubt it's the HG.

If it is a Head Gasket going and you do it, best to get the head skimmed....Kenny helped me replaced the HG on my old Nova (ally head), I tried to do it without head skim...It didn't work. Ended up doing it again (it was much quicker the second time :D ) and getting the head skimmed only cost £35 pounds.

Get a second opinon, compression test and keep an eye on the water level and look for signs of mayo in the oil.

Common practice these days to skim all heads, not like the old days of cast heads where an ert gert metal block with some emery was used

i've only ever skimmed the clio f7 series heads when i've done head gaskets as they have always blown catastrophically between cylinders so score marks on the head. ally heads on the polo's i've owned, never bothered skimming them and always been fine after a gasket change due to mild mixing of oil and water.

Paul mate, as above really, get a full series of opinions, get the compressin tested in both the cylinders and the coolant system and look for mayo inside the oil filler cap or header tank cap, as well as visible oil floating in the coolant in the header tank.

do a block test on the head via header tank. Fluid will change colour if exhaust gas is leaking and pressurising the coolant.
