gunner...4got to mention in pm, the iscv, throttle pot, and air temp sensor need sorting as the 1.8 ones dont fit on the meg inlet manifold, and the meg sensors dont fit the 1.8 managemnt! its fairly easy to sort it tho...and the egr needs binning

Yep still a Hybrid.........Told BRUN about the northwest meet, with a link to here.

01-03-2005, 18:41
Cool. He appears to have his dizzy problem sorted now so it should be at full strength (or better if he gets a stainless on)...i'll be interested to hear how it compares to other 16vs/willys...

Martin
01-03-2005, 20:57
I would'nt get any hopes up of seeing BRUN at a meet....last one he came to IIRC was in 2003 or sumthin'! At least he won't be able to cry of because of speed bumps now.

J o n
02-03-2005, 14:26
dont think i've ever seen or met him... once upon a time in a place far far away (well, from you Rob anyway...) there was a Clio Sport meet. People came from all over the North to be at this big meet and legend has it that Brun turned up... never saw him, apart from his car as it left...

FlamingMonkey
02-03-2005, 14:51
Yeah I saw Brun once at a meet, he was really friendly and talkative...lol

Can't remeber who I was with, Danny or Northy but I remeber turning up and he just sat in his car with his Bird, didn't say a dicky bird, was a good meet that, hehe.

J o n
02-03-2005, 14:55
same one I was at pal, Adi kinda did the same thing, but he'd told his missus that he was taking her shopping... oops! pmsl

FlamingMonkey
02-03-2005, 14:57
haha didn't realise that was Adi, don't think I met him properly, didn't matter as much though as he didn't organise the meet

J o n
02-03-2005, 15:00
lol, yeah, the infamous red beast, formerly Matt B's? He came to the other meet in Warrington with his GSI engined van, scared the shit outta Mehdi in it!

Winston
02-03-2005, 22:40
Well guys...eat your words lol...He turned up, had a chat with use all and he had a torch to hand when my car wouldn't start (If you read this BRUN cheers)

Your old beast was a bit dirty u33db, but it looks so low and wide on the willy track....pitty the only way to see it was for you to sell it to BRUN lol

FlamingMonkey
03-03-2005, 00:36
Yep I'm eating my words, good to actually speak to you Brun, hehe finally

Good to meet you too Winston nice motor fella.

Winston
03-03-2005, 00:51

Really beginning to miss it now - the 30mile trips to my parents house aren't nearly as much fun it the 1.2 especially as i've been told 'not to bugger about with it' by the folks. Some things just need doing though so i've got some 16v steelies to go on and i'll hopefully i'll be able to blag a 35mm drop too....quote "its just the 15s that make it look lower...HONEST"

Winston
03-03-2005, 14:53
Feel for you dude.....1.2 will look good with the valver stealys and lowered abit if you got the handling sort it still should be fun (valver track it  )

u33db
03-03-2005, 14:58
Well the one plus point is the fuel consumption - getting about 100miles per quarter of a tank so can't sniff at that! :D Miss the power tho so much tho - once i'm finished uni in a year i may need to treat myself to a 2ltr valver...altho i've always wanted a GTT so may compromise - Clio GTT maybe...

JonnyK
21-03-2005, 13:46
Just signed up thought i would post up a spec of my soon to be 2litre lump, getting prepped at GDI as we speak

2.0 Megane Bottom end (from stan  )
AWT headwork
1.8 head and modded exhaust manifold
Piper Cams, AWT Vernier Pullies
SMT6 Piggyback ECU
Custom Exhaust and Decat
Valeo Clutch
Lightened and balanced flywheel

had my RT for nearly 2 years now and i feel i am now ready to possess some real power as i feel i deserve it unlike 17 year olds who get a valver and write it off within 6 months.
