I am looking into getting a run of Carbon Fibre and GRP bonnets for 16 Valver's and Williams made.

Who would be interested?

he needed those, as it was a case of no point putting parts on that will wear out quickly again... yer right... lol

I might be interested, depends on:-

[1] How much Weight saving of light bonnet

[2] quality & strength of bonnet

[3] cost

[4] if it has a group N/maxi style bonnet vent/scoop in place for direct air for induction kit. <--- that would be a major plus point for me.

Im thinking of an open top box that goes around the IK, when the bonnet is closed the vents sit just above the box, and there is a scoob style scoop deflector pushing the air into the IK, so you get a rush of cold air in and no hot engine bay heat.

I'm interested.

Depends on:

1) Weight saving... 50% weight saving on the current carbon bonnets some people have isn't very good. I have seen 4Kg carbon bonnets.

2) Quality... Will be sprayed to match 449 anyway, but must be top quality of course :D

3) Who you're using to get them made up.
