are the std clio bodyshell say 1.2/1.4 the same as the likes of the 1.8/2.0 ?

nope, and i believe even the 1.8 and 2.0 shells are different due to the way the seams are welded??? might be wrong tho!

nope, the Willy and Valver shells have different rear arches

He means the rear quarter panels are different on the valvers & williams over the other lower spec clios. Although you can buy the rear quarter panels from Renault, the valver/willy shells were built differently and in a different factory

Well I thought the sills are different as well to accommodate the wider rear arches :? I also thought the valver's & willys were built in dieppe

sills are different but part of the rear quarters... really if order from renault..

not sure on the other thing..
