Car is being stripped down for winter in the next week. Its being fully re-wired from scratch so if there is enough interest the pre-made custom loom and ECU are up for grabs.

The ECU was virginised/decoded (£75), then an immobiliser emulator (£40) fitted, so it will work on the key without any problems. By using an emulator it can be re-mapped like any other 172 and you will never have a problem.

The loom was a 172 Ph1 (Single Lambda) loom, converted to plug straight into the brown and white connectors in the engine bay. The connectors have been wired up respective of it being a Ph2 loom. It would work on a Ph1 without any issue, but a few pins might need swapping round.

Basically, you could drop a 172 engine into the engine bay, plug the loom into your car, connect the ECU and away you go. Simple as that.

A 172 Ph1 loom usually sells for around £80 in standard form second hand. 172 Ph2 looms cant be used they dont have a throttle position sensor or idle control valve connector. ECU's usually go for £60-80 in standard form also. Add it all up with the decode/emulator and your past £270, before you've even modified the loom to match your car.

£200 will take the pair of mine, which are plug and play.

Anyone interested?
