Aux belt tensioner

Anyone EVER had a whining/squeaking tensioner? I've narrowed it down to PS pump, Water pump or the tensioner now that causing the whining noise. The tensioner stopped tensioning after engine change and that's when the noises started but it could just as easily be the other two as well as they could have taken a knock or two in the transplant of the engine.

Hi mate.

Mine is whining a lot. sounds like a bird in the engine my wife says!

I assume its cause I never adjusted the tensioner when i fitted new alternator with new belt. Will do it when I buy the 7mm allen bit that fits. Seems really tight for space though!
