I have a short shifter conversion kit for sale. It's a DIY kit, consists all part which are needed for convert your genuine gear linkage and gear lever for a short shifter.
Required DIY modifications: gear stick shortening, changing of the gear ball housing and small link bar.
So, this kit consists of:

- a polished alloy fixed gear lever ball joint housing
- a shortened reverse-lock sleeve (plastic - like the genuine)
- small gear link bar (as I know it's called as Quickshift) - an extra short version is available on request
- metal bush + bolt and nut

Benefits:
- gives 25 percentage reduction in movement (or 30% with the shorter small link bar)
- more precise shift
- you can use the genuine gear knob (it doesn't become hot in summer or cold in winter like the alloy knob)
- fitted kit looks like the genuine gear lever, only the gear knob sits lower

Fitted into my Williams:

is that price including delivery?

Also are there replacment nylon bushes that the linkage to lever ?

And do you replace the nylon ball on the actual lever that fits into the ball housing ?

Looks a good kit - i will take one.

Wobba: I have 2 kits momently, one for Clio Mk1 and one for Clio Mk2.
Northy: Delivery and postage included in £69 (yes, a bit pricey compared to the cheap B&M copy on ebay but this kit is not copy and it's made in small serie only). There are no replacement nylon bushes but it's no need to replace them if your ones are in good condition. I have spare (used) pair of nylon bushes so I can send them if you want. Engine mountings must be in good condition! This kit uses the original nylon ball of the gear lever:

Yes, a rose-joint would be better, but in that case the price would be a lot higher. So, I would say this conversion kit is for those who want a significantly shorter shift throw with more precise shift and 'sporty' shift sound (it sounds 'click-click' during gear changing due the ball joint housing has no sound damper effect) without modification of the interior.

This video was made in my garage... not so loud in the street: 30% version (http://www.fw.hu/yanooka/DPA_Short_Shifter.wmv)
(this one was the prototype :) )

Davidbuttigieg: it's yours if Northy would not buy (he was the first) or will buy later. I don't want to hasten anybody... will have more in March.

Ok :), let's wait for Northy's answer. Yes, I would. The shipping cost would be 3750 HUF (~£12,50) as a registered mail.

Any way of fitting a non-standard knob?

Solvable. Standard gear knob is only an option.
Northy said he would buy it later. David said he has no money atm. So, it's still for sale.
