Gunner, any chance you could do a walk through guide to fitting a megane lump in a Williams for the site? Could you do a detailed picture diary of what you do. I think it wopuld be very interesting, and be a good alternative to the Williams engined hybrid. If 2lives is anything to go by the megane lump might be a better alternative.

meg 2.0l engines are plentiful, lots about, newer less mileage and cheaer than willy ones.

sure... i will def do that.

i'll be using a valver head with: piper cam fast road cams and vernier pulleys
yes danny t get your wallet out.

I would have it if I had the spare cash but money is a bit tight at the min with the chics bday and new tiers, so it looks like im gonna have to let this one go!!!

When you say engine do u mean just the block of the whole thing??

Could be tempted if its the full engine...

If 2lives is anything to go by the megane lump might be a better alternative.

according to 2 live there aint much if any difference, iirc his willy engine ran a 14.7 with decat, zorst and filter and his megane engine with same mods ran 14.6. so that's the same really, as different days give you different results imo.

So can do........Wide track, manual steering and 2.0 conversion guides, ****ing cool...Can't wait gibbo, have to use a good camera..start writing the scripts lol

williams engine:
175 Nm ISO
18.2 mkg DIN
(at 4500 rpm)

megane engine is:
185 Nm

does it actually produce more torque though, I'd like to know if this can be proven or is just individual engines, reason I ask is that a lot of hybrids vary in power, but some are using Megane engines, other Willy engines, but there seems to be no difference on similar modded cars???

yeah it applies if you use the megane head....its better designed... yo you need to fiddle with the dizzy to make it work correctly..
