Here is an almost new Standard clio 16v 1.8 full exhaust.

It came off a clio cup car that was delivered to southampton. This was taken off in exchange for the devil side exit straight away. So it must have driven onto the truck and off again at the oter side. It has been in storage since 1991.
Some very slight surface rust in places but otherwise like new.
Factory underseal on the under side of the middle section.
This is the complete system from the cat back. Not including the cat.

We also have the standard heatshields for sale, they came off the same car, if you need them.

renault charge £98 for the middle and £136 for the rear inc.VAT - I just checked.

that black stuff was all over the bottom of my cup car so its nice to know that its original underseal

Yeah, I can imagine a french chap brushing it on, and there are 'brush' marks!
Its only on the underside of the exhaust, suggesting that they undersealed them with the exhaust on, or just splashed a bit on the middle section after assembly.

I will get heatshields up on tuesday/wednesday.
The car was used, so you wont find it in southamton i'm afraid.

I would go check on my car but I am at work in smart clothes and it's raining...so dumb question time: Are the rear exhaust heat shields riveted in or is it a nut or bolt that holds them in?

My rear shield is skanky as hell.

No :( He means sent from France, landed at Soton, probably by P&O Freight as they were the big players bck then for docking here with cars, before the Jap import boom.
