Hello,

I know this is a long shot but I don't suppose if anybody knows of a Williams 2 with the reg M919 TWL?? I owned this car for approx two years from 95 to 97, and was the second owner.

Also, my girlfriend at the time had a Williams 3 with, if I remember correctly, the reg N21 CWC... I would love to know if either of these cars are still alive!

Cheers,

Mark.

Your Williams 2 hasnt been taxed since 2005 so would assume its been scrapped.

can check on vehicle licence.gov.uk

when you do a search and its been changed to a private plate it then says it doenst recognise the registration.

GazTwo,

Where did you find that photo? I've PM'd Andy on Cliosport but it doesn't look like he's been on there for a long while so I'll be suprised if I hear anything.. thanks for your help..

good bit of history finding there gaz - almost up to cup standards

Looks a clean car

A way u can find out is to contact the dvla - they can tell you where the car is registered too - if you give them a good reason why u want to know. Forwarding history is a good one.

Be a shame if it's been scrapped. Looks clean.

If it has, see if you can find the old engine and re-shell it :D

If the car was sorn'ed the tax due date would be 2010, so it looks like it has been scrapped back in 2005.

I'd be gutted now if it was scrapped, seeing it looking so good only approx 4 yrs ago gave me hope that she was a survivor!!

I'm living in hope that someone has put a private plate on it, or would it tell you that on the dvla enquiry?

If it was scrapped it would not be listed? Recently I bought a car with basically the same history return and it was simply a case of previous owner not declaring SORN. When I tried to SORN I had to phone the DVLA due to such a large liability window.

i have a few of my old cars that have been scrapped and still show up on the database.

I always thought that once scrapped correctly that they should be removed from the register. The W3 I recently broke no longer appears on the register after the scrappy collected and disposed of correctly.
