Hi there
i bought my car with a carbon manifold heat shield fitted. I noticed the other day it has burned/melted through along the line of one of the tubing sections.

Am assuming that the carbon heat shield is not up to the job?
Is the standard shield better / and are they still available?
Cheers

OK, thanks - i guess that £65 isn't so expensive compared to the possible alternative..
