No sensible offers received for my Ex Cup car (and would have sold for less than £1000), so I will now break it for parts.
Everything available except rollcage, which is already spoken for.
To the best of my knowlegde the engine has done about 5 -6 hours since rebuild. Buyer of engine to get first refusal on ECU.
Most parts will bolt straight on to your road/trackday cars, as these cars were far more standard than the current Cup cars.
Will leave assembled until I've got a reasonable list of bits people want.
Collection best option for most bits, but can arrange delivery or courier if required. Car is near Nottingham, 2 mins from J27 of M1.
Some pictures available in my 'For Sale' posting, but you can PM me for others or call on 07977 430131.
Thanks, Emlyn

Well still open to offers before I get the spanners out, but the list of offers for parts is growing.
I agree it would be best sold complete, as is great fun to drive.

Would prefer it if you made an offer when enquiring about parts.
Also as this a race car there are a few extra items
Steering Wheel Boss/Adaptor for aftermarket steering wheels (OMP,Sparco etc)
Ally Door Cards - very basic, but better than exposed door internals
And a few sets of wheels
Dampers are DeCarbon
how much for the shockers ?
You Have PM.
Thanks for getting in touch.
Very interested in the shell. Please give me a call tommorow, or message me your number and I can call you.
Thanks

What sort of state are the pair of doors in? I'd be interested if not too dented.

I'm guessing that mean it has no VIN?? (I'm sure I read that somewhere before!)
again dont always belive what you read.
All Mk1 clio cup cars were intended to be road cars orginally. They came with kits to convert to racing spec. Dont forget these are pre production / pre released cars. so full trim and every bit of plastic bar turbine wheels.
I believe they could have been french cars converted to RHD as they came with no sunroofs and on steel wheels.
There for - they all, orginally had a standard VIN plate. And the conventioan VIN code on the suspension turret. Mine for example is the 400 odd car off the production line.
Now - as a racing car they got pranged and bent. If a new shell was ordered they came with there own serial number and reshelled.
This post is backed with pictures of the cars direct from renault having the 'cup pack' fitted.
And a picture of the car's VIN in question :winkey:
http://www.williamsclio.co.uk/forum/files/cliodetail_014_214.jpg
And to road register you need the VIN number and manafactured date - all of which is on the vin / renault records.
The car should go on a ' H ' registration.
the cup cars originally came over in a batch of about 30 from renault. Pre-paid for.
If you smashed it up, you bought a 'motorsport' shell from renault which was pulled off the line like northy said. It doesnt get the underseal/stoneship treatment.
When the 2000 spec cup cars came over from dieppe I went to southampton (think it was there) to collect 4 of them.
The drivers could pick thier car out of a warehouse full of identical ones :)
