ITB's fitted (finally) :D
Filter sits very close to the bonnet (actually touches).
I recon the air flow would be quite restricted using the std. bonnet.

Does anyone have experiences regarding air flow to ITB's?
Pros/cons regarding making a cut out in the bonnet? (not worried about water/dirt etc.)
Before/after rolling road measurements?

Ideally i would like to find a carbon bonnet and make nice cut out.
But i can't find one.... :(

andy did a back to back RR test on his f4r'd itb's mk1....

Right we had the car RRed with bonnet off and it made 238.9bhp and then with it on and it made 218.5 bhp

proof is in the pudding

so in reality mine is prob making about standard power with the bonnet on! lmao

time to cut a big hole in it methinks!

Would be excellent, but would not work on the length of intake im currently running. Gurt chunk of torque like :D

TBH i dont think there is room for an airbox.
I know the Maxis used an air box. But the ITB's they used almost looked similar to bike bodies - shorter, giving more room to the air box.
