Hi guys....

Those coming to the track day - heres a little list of what you might want to bring with you.

camping equipment (inc lanterns / torches)
over night bag
change of clothes
some games for later on in the night
small selection of tools
Jerry can of petrol
chairs
lots of food and beers (will work out better if everyone brings there own beers) to cover friday & saturdays breaky.

I believe we are having food supplied for lunch by track action, but everyone might be best to bring some food to cook for there tea.

I would chef and make burgers...........if I wasnae a lazy twat.

Mind it would prolly take me 'til next week to find a herd of cows large enough to make enough burgers for everyone! :P

I'm just going to bring a couple of disposable bbqs and maybe some burgers for meself.

Much easier to bring yer own.

My list as always is good.

Rebuilt the front suspension/ balljoints. on both side (mind you I don't have a garage and won't pick up the driveshaft to do drivers side till Tuesday probably) so lets hope it doesn't rain.

Change the oil (might not do this its only been in for 2.5k)

Pack the clothes etc and food although I'm probably going to have dinner at home then pop down Thursday night.

Pack the clothes for two weeks holiday as I'm of on holiday Saturday morning.

Just been checking through the info, seems if you want a video camera it has to be arranged before hand

Video Cameras: Video cameras are not allowed unless mounted and fixed inside the car and arranged in advance.

richy
24-07-2005, 21:26

Martin
24-07-2005, 21:27
if you do more than 10 laps though danny :P instead of passengering all day  you might need more especially after a 100 odd miles trip to the track...

Lunner
24-07-2005, 21:48
Its best part of 200 miles to the track for me, so will fill up close to the track, and and fill up again before heading home.

Nearest petrol station is 5 miles away in LLANFIHANGEL YN NHYWYN....****ing welsh pricks and their ****ed up place names

Lunner
24-07-2005, 21:49
I have sat nav, so wouldn't be a problem organising a convoy to the petrol station, wil be arriving around 8am i guess

As far as I'm aware their is no problem with camcorders aslong as their mounted correctly.....no gaffa taping it to the dash or passengers holding it for u.....must be firmly fixed.

Got a mount for mine the other day and a Power Invertor today to run it off the cig socket....no need for batteries..... :D

GazTwo
24-07-2005, 22:02

Maplin Electronics.....£29.99, if your using it in the car all the time it's a good idea......Nikkai DC to AC Power Inverter 150 Watts/12V.

f*ck me, 3 hours 50 mins to get there, a day spent driving around the track, and same time back.....gonna be one long ass day

That's why u need to head over Thursday night mate....get a good nights sleep.....I'd rather get there at 10/11pm and get some sleep till 7/7:30 than have to get up at 3/3:30am then straight on track when u get there.

dannyt
25-07-2005, 07:09
Right so it's worth taking a jerry can then, thats all im asking for, no sarcastic remarks needed Banana Man!!!

Swervin_Mervin
25-07-2005, 10:08
Doubt you'll need a jerry can Danny. Even if you fill up beforehand and get only 200 miles from a tank that's more laps than you'll do, especially if we're all nobbing off at lunch to fill up!

GazTwo
25-07-2005, 13:44
Yeah u won't need a Jerry Can Danny unless your going hard core and running it on fumes all day to keep the weight down.
