Was wondering if you could try & give me an estimate on what my car is worth?
reason being,a few local people have asked if i'd sell it,i dont really use it that much so am considering letting it go.

it's not mint as you'l see in the pics,it has bubbling on both arches & drivers door has gone crusty at the bottom.
the rest is good though, interior is in great condition as is the engine.
has 9 months mot.
86k
magnex exhaust
pipercross induction
toad ai606 cat 1 alarm/immobiliser

Any service history?

IMO....

Its difficult to put a valuation on a car in that condition. It would need to go to someone who was prepared to spend a bit of money on it as from the pics I can see it is a bit tatty. These cars are expensive to maintain with spare parts etc. Plus most people who are looking for one are usually after an immaculate condition one.

Ive seen williams in that condition gor for £1200 and less. Id maybe stick it on pistonheads and see what interest you get.

If your handy with tools Id consider breaking it, as sad as that is.

Wheels - £150
Engine - £300-500
Interior - £100-£150
Gearbox - £100

As you can see from above you'd get a lot more than selling it as a whole. Depends if you can be bothered with that though.

More people after donor bits than a car in that condition maybe...?

Sorry to be so blunt if it comes across that way.

Sad to see a williams be broken though! :(

Good luck!

LOL @ breaking it!!!

i know the arches & the door are'nt good, but that's the only bad bits!!
im happy to keep it anyway :) but like i said,a few people have enquired & i just wanted to get fair money for it.

How much would we be looking at roughly if i was to get the arches repaired? i have the plastic trim & stickers to go on.

LOL @ breaking it!!!

But you're looking to sell it arent you and get as much as you can....?

If you want to get as much as you can for it, thats your best option given its current condition.

Im a fan of this genre of cars and tbh I wouldnt give more than 1k for it given its condition and how much would need spending on it to keep/put it right.

Proper job on the arches would be £500 per side, and might as well get the sills done while your at it as these are as bad as the arches for rot.

Then there's the issue of spraying the rear panels and sills. Not as straight forward as spraying those bits only, you have to fade it in, therefore meaning a whole re-spray would be the best option. You cant just spray the bit that have been repaired if the job needs to be done correct.

Even if you did get these bits done you'd be lucky at getting £2000 for it unfortunately.

Or you could sell it to Mat Brown and he'll break it!

:P

Thanks for the input & valuation peeps! :)

It's roughly what i'd be happy with anyway so i'l see what happens.

so im gonna say £1350 ono if they aint intrested at that price then i dont really care as i'l just keep it.

Why not ask for a little for more it? If people have asked if you are selling they must be keen to buy it, personally I'd say £1700 and take it from there. Does need a lot of cosmetic work tbh, but I wouldn't bother getting it done if you're selling, you wouldn't recoup the cost...

Oh and please don't break it, too many people take this route imo, would be nice to see somebody take on a resto project with this...
