I had my clutch pedal and cable replaced about 2months ago... and today as i depressed the clutch, the pedal fell all the way to the floor and i thought my clutch cable had snapped again.......... but as i pulled over i decided to try and pull the pedal off from the floor and it magically tensioned up and came back to where it should and my clutch was fine afterwards?!

Does anyone know what has caused this?

Cheeeeeeeeeers

Rachet system has failed. You'll need a new clutch pedal assembly if it keeps happening.

Out of interest... Do you know where the clutch pedal/adjuster was bought from as I have phoned a few places and can't find one.

Anyone know if they're the same as standard clio pedals as I could pick one up from a breakers.

Can be had from Renault for not too much money as a complete kit.
