Welcome mate :D
I recognise the shiney stuff, is this your project on cliosport?

good old schackal is who you want, he's got a thread in the for sale section
Copy your thread to here, it'll be something nice for the rest of the heathens on here to look at :P
thats the man, i think they've seen it all before, it may bore them

Things like this tend to get missed on cliosport as it's so big and a lot of folk on here aren't members on there either.
Must admit I completely forgot about your project until I saw the polished throttle body & thought I've seen it on CS somewhere
Just had a look back at it & you've done some cracking work so far 8) have you resolved the issue with the steering rack?
no not yet, buried my head in the sand as i've got the hump with it, but i do need to sort it, i may ask on here

was going to suggest asking on here as I'm sure someone will have a definitive answer
much much better on here for mk1's - we tend to know about them where as half the cs lot are too young to even know what they are!

wow! that's nice.... I've got some competition for my restore that's ongoing at the moment (see the 0425 threads in the pictures section)... your inlet manifold is very tasty - what did you get done to it??

iirc he polished it the good old fashioned way, using bits & bobs on the end of an air gun/drill type thing - serious effort 8)

to be honest your engine and box looks much better than mine, and the manifold was just polished, very boring work though

fair play though - it's great to see someone putting some serious time and effort into a restore... :)
