Powering Valentine One radar detector.

I'm buying a radar detector thats powered from a cigerette lighter socket.

The literature has some blurb about the socket needing to be of a 'two wire' variety, saying that some older cars were just 'one wire'.

Anyone know what the Williams has? Anyone got any experience with using a Valentine One in theirs?
