I'm after a new set of rear discs for the 16v. I've seen a few places stating that all the clio sports (inc the 16v and williams) use the same rear discs - can anyone confirm this?

I'm after some discs with the ABS ring (which i can't confirm is the same as the mk2s) and the bearings already pressed in to make my life easier :D

if anyone has any recommendations/links i'd appreciate it :D

all the calipers are the same (give or take brand variations) so you don't need to worry about it.

just to update

I bought and fitted a set of 1*2 rear discs... the fitment is identical!

mk1 pads/calipers etc:

ABS ring was handy as I have ABS :D

Renault are super lazy, you didn't think they'd engineer a new rear setup for the mkII did you, it was on the 5 GTT too

why change something thats proven to work efficently for years ??
fronts are what does most of the braking anyways which is
upgraded on the 172/182 .

How very dare you! The 205 1.6GTi had drums (except ABS equipped cars - like mine) and the 1.9 had discs.

Can I confirm something with you learned gents and ladies?
1. Do new rear disc include bearings? If not, then is is wise to get bearings?
2. The Williams 2 is non ABS isn't it? I thought only the 3 was ABS.

Those ones come with bearings, not all do though.
Yeah, willy 1&2 are non abs, willy 3 has abs and it was an option on the 16v throughout the years. fitment of the discs is the same though.

Pug's cant be the same, PCD is 108 for starts and the rear discs on the 106 GTI are seperate to the hubs unlike the Renault's all in one part

Must be calipers then think the fronts are the same too..
