Looking very nice indeed, clean up the rubbers at the back of the bay and spray them with something like autoglym rubber spray orange and white bottle, will make then shiney shiney

Darren, how far did you go when you stripped the bay for paint? did you remove everything, brake lines the lot?

most bits were taken off, think the brake lines remained though - they were taken of the clips, the clips taken off and the lines masked up...

Nice job mate, I hope mine will look as good as this when finished. If possible can you take me pictures in the engine bay, on both corners, inner wings ( basically all areas in bay with engine out ) hopefully to help me putting my bay back together.

Thanks Ian

If your engine is half as clean as your bay.........thatll look really sweet

Although using your engine bay as a rubbish bin is a bit much  (yes i know its your wiring)

col - check out the "Part 2" thread lower down the page for the state of the engine due to go back in....

Reno16v - could you bee more specific in what pictures you actually want and what you want to see - I took loads as the engine was coming out so may be able to help you with those....
