as above.. what is the function of the charcole canister?
can i just remove it and use his vaccume nipple for another purpose? if yes which bits should i get rid off?

it prevents global warming , just get rid of it so i can
swim in the atlantic next summer :D

it has got a few connections , one on the inlet manifold as well .
just butt plug the lot :wink: . be reet 8)

yea but do i have to get rid of any sensor that would give a warning to the ecu or my dash>?

nope, just unplug it, and chase the vac line back to the fuel tank

stores the petrol fumes/vapours from the tank then releases them into the inlet manifold usualy when driveing at mid-high speeds...

do you not have to vent the pipe so the tank wont expand??

you need to have a vent in the fuel tank yes, so i removed all of the pipework right back to the tank, removed the aux tank and breathers and replaced with a bypass pipe

then connected up the 2 breathers and simply drilled a small hole in the top of the filler neck under the fuel cap
