Can anyone help :-

Today when starting the williams, as i pulled away i noticed a puddle.

On inspection under the car, whenever the engine is running oil drips out at the rate of 1drip/second ? (underneath - halway between the centre of the engine and the drivers side arch, near the front )

I have not hit any speed bumps etc and the problem has just occured out of nowhere.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why its suddenly leaking ? i intend to take it to the local garage tomorrow (as i dont want to drive too far), but they have a habit of making jobs much bigger than they need be, if i have any knowledge i can put to them about the leak it would probably help a great deal.

Cheers Gunner.

Would i be right in thinking they are all quick/cheap adjustments/jobs ?

Is there anything expensive that could be at fault?

The reason i ask is my local garage has a really bad rep for overcharging - but i have to drive a fair way to get to any other garage.

New sump is expensive as the subframe has to come off. Think I was quoted near the £500 mark. I just opted to keep pouring oil in 'til I can afford it though :P
