Hi, I fairly new and really need to find a JC5 box!!!

I bought a CAT C Williams 2 (65,000 miles) for a few hundred in Feb which turned out to have a knackered big end :( It was then completely gutted, engine rebuilt, full respray and lots of wax oil. I also found out that some arse had fitted a crap gearbox, I've changed that for a 16v box but obviously that's just temporary.

I'm after the following parts if anyone can help:

- JC5 box
- new standard springs and dampers (I think I'll go to Renault)
- Ideally a spare set of Williams speedlines
- a nice parcel shelf
- a pair of front headrests (mine are a bit floppy)
- the front door/map pockets. the plastic seems to have aged quite badly
- A new steering wheel
- a rear wiper motor

I also have the following issues if you have any advice please let me know:

- speedo cuts out if I drive it hard
- normally at the same time as the speedo cuts out the idle speed goes up to 1800rpm, if I restart the idle speed goes back to normal but the speedo doesn't.
- Water temp gauge works until the car warms up then just cuts out.

I've got some decals on order and the car has been valeted and diamond brighted so it's looking really well.

I'd replace the speedo cable as this does cause idle issues as well as a dodgy coolant temperature sensor so replace that as well.

I've got a rear wiper motor you can have :wink:

Try a scrappy for the map pockets as you never know your luck
