Bonnet studs snapped!

First job on the project was to remove the bonnet, after previous issues with the studs snapping on other cars I made sure the nuts etc got a good soaking in penetrating oil. One side both nuts came off fine, other side both have snapped! Well p1ssed off, I am assuming that the old ones can be drilled out and re-tapped?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

drill them out, tap the thread, fit a stud and lock down. As good as new.
