Looks like it's been bead blasted, the finish on the manifold looks exactly like mine did when I had that blasted, same with the sump, I picked 1 up for a mate the other day from the blaster and it looks exactly the same finish wise

hmmmm, cleaned/painted the bolts that you can see directly when your looking at the engine in the car... left the ones that you can't see... wouldn't take too long with a brush and some paint though.... things that are bugging me at the moment are the PAS pipe along the front which should be brass in colour and the fuel lines which I can't get really clean...

It will definately be a dry day only car from now on.... I also would be well gutted if it bust a hose and pissed fluids all over the engine bay....

inlet manifold was bought off a chap from here, was blasted and powdercoated by him, not OEM you'll be pleased to hear.... other parts were either cleaned, scrubbed and polished to bring them up or where they were too bad were sprayed. For example, the PAS and alternator brackets have been sprayed, the head and throttle body have been cleaned....

Paddy - sump has been cleaned right back and sprayed....

BTW, now got car back from bodyshop, will post pics up over the weekend...
