is it me or is this the gheyest task ever ??

how much of coarse/fine paste are you supposed to use for each
valve seat ? can you put the paste on the valve rather than the seat ?
when do you know you got proper seal ? and why the fok does my stick
let the valve go eventually ?

is there an easier/more quaranteed way of getting this done ?

its u lol be patient depends how much pitting u have on the valve seats/valves
doesn't matter where u put paste dont go mad with qty tho
you can tell when u have a good seal when u can see a continuous grey line round the valve seat and all the pitting has been removed if you have serious damage to seats a recut might be in order
your stick as u put it does come off spit on the rubber sucker and lift valve clear once in a while as the paste tends to cause some resistance to clockwise/counterclockwise rotation of the valve

its a slow job but worth getting right

aye as above, also make sure the head of the valve is free from carbon/shit as they wont stick to the suction cup so well.

seats look fine , its the zorst valves that look pitted but yes i can
see where its grinding the valve and taking the pitting away .
its just the grinding paste gets out from between the valve and the seat
after a couple revolutions than i have to take the valve out and bring the
paste back on the seat area :?

is it right to use coarse paste untill the pitting on the valves are gone
than swap to fine paste ?

do a couple of "revolutions" left to right, then bring the valve off the seat and tap it down...if that makes sense...this will help kepe the paste on the seat/valve.

what grit pastes are you using??

if the valves are badly marked/pitted then coarse first to remove the worst then fine to finish you will find that the paste will do that but as i said just be patient and sure u will get there its not a two min job and the only other solution is new seats and valves and u will still end up lapping them in

seen that tapping method on youtube , but it doesnot seem to
bring a lot ofpaste back on the area . might also be the fact i
am going easy on the paste though :D
does not say what grit it is mate , bought this kit from halfords for £3.99
comes with coarse and fine pastes .

pretty std kits u can buy they all use the same grades of carborundum paste so dont worry just get lapping and stop posting
