Loss of Power :-(

I went through a lot of heavy rain last night and some deep water that was on a dual carriageway. Today when you put you foot down (not every time) there is restricted power and makes a sound a bit like a subaru if you know what I mean, sort of like a brrrrr sound :-) If anyone knows what this might be please help. Try checking your air filter isn't wet? And the dizzy is all nice and dry?

check injector clips and connectors also, and the ecu itself, it'll be water in a sensor or connector somewhere

I think you might be on the money with this one.... I had oil in there before and it did the same thing. Cheers.

did this, all nice & dry, dizzy had a bit of "de-scale" but was dry.
