View Full Version : BMC CDA, SFS Silicone Hose and Custom Metal TB Adaptor

1st Mod on my car to replace a damn awful K&N that came with it.

TB Adaptor is oval so matches the TB and not round like some. Was prototype and going to be made in Stainless but they needed my car agin for that and could not be bothered.

SFS silicone hose and BMC CDA filter. Cleaning fluid and oil. Also comes with the original BMC CAF. Was going to rig up CAF to bumper but never bothered so can supply aftermarket CAF in correct diameter plus heat shrink stuff to secure to the CDA.

£120 for the lot.

Taking pics tomorrow as have day off and picking up new car.

As soon as I don't have to rely on the Clio for daily transportation anymore I can start taking bits off and photographing etc.

Will take pic of how IK sits in engine bay and also of throttle body adaptor.

Had a really busy weekend as other things came up. Only managed to properly clean 2 wheels plus look at my missus's polo which is playing up and sort wedding related stuff out.

Will definately take a pic of under bonnet later and upload. May not get the throttle body adaptor off till tomorrow as that is when my insurance runs out so has to be at my parents where I will be breaking it. Don't really want to be taking things off for photos only to have to put back on to drive the thing.

Forgot to add you need breather filters too. Will chuck the 2 in I fitted but they probably need a clean but better than running without.

Yea dont need a perfect picture of the TB adaptor just a rough picture of the whole set up please mate :)

Definately will be photographed tomorrow with BMC in situ and off so you can see profile of TB adaptor. In work at 4 amd so should be sometime early afternoon.
