Just whip your current one off over the winter break or buy a second hand one and take it to a place to be blasted back to bare metal and powdercoated any colour you like. It should only cost about 50 quid and you'll have something that is effectively better than new (powdercoating will keep the rust at bay better than the original painted finish):

how come ?? i got the exact same subframe in the pic
out of a 19 16v , was comparing it to the r9 gtx frame today in fact .
