Thought I'd post up some piccys of 0425's engine bay restore. This is part one with the removal of the engine to show 15 years of gunk hiding beneath.... Many thanks to Big Steve for all his help so far....

i was gunna say mine looks like a right turd in the engine bay! but it is a mightily strong engine so im gunna let it slip! :D

As it was our first time it took about 5 - 6 hours but i reckon i'd have one out again in 4 - 5 if i did it again! :D

ive taken the turod lump out of mine a couple of times now, and thats with the charge cooler, turbo etc, in just under 4 hours, thats with basic tools. get quicker every time. unfortunately
