The lads were flying. Mehdi's car is a monster. He's so consistant as well. Think most of his runs were 13.5/6's and then the 13.4.

Yeah mines runnig Kent cams, on standard ECU.

To be honest I really wasn't expecting thr 14.0 I would of been happy with a 14.5, but the 14.0 is Nice, really helped by an excellent 60ft time

Lunner
17-07-2005, 13:17
Just to compare what was everyone's 60ft times, my best was a 2.30, and the full quarter mile time was 16.3, just interested to compare, esp agaist a valver, seeing as mine has the 8valves it has more low down torque

FlamingMonkey
17-07-2005, 13:22
My best 60ft was 2.048

17-07-2005, 14:59
thats some time for the 60 ft mate.think my best is 2.2

Lunner
17-07-2005, 17:00
As i said, 8v power, if you look on teh power graph you have the torque all the way from 2/2.5k revs

Martin
17-07-2005, 18:59
I got 20 2.2s and 2 2.3s....well pleased with that.

My best 60ft was 2.048

what RPM did you launch at to get such a good time ? or is the secret in the tyres and tyre pressure ?

14.0 is impressive for cams on std ecu 8)

this is mine lads

Was a really good day...had some good battles with our kid...he won me the first time and 3rd time...soon corrected.

Think we finished on 2 - 4 to me.

But for just a decat - his car is going to fly.

No idea mate, I treid about 60 million different combinations, low revs, high revs, feed the clutch slowly, side step the clutch, and I've no idea what the best lauch technique was for that time, it was pure luck if I'm to be honest. Tyre pressures I've no idea either just ran 32 as I usually do, although I do have a slow puncture on my passengers side, plus my tyres are nearly slicks hehe

must admit - if u got wheelspin you were not on for a personal best....each car is differant tbh....have a play and a time will appear.
