Where is best to get one and does it fit straight on the engine or do you have to make a braket to conect to the block ??

got mine off ebay for £30, best off getting one 2nd hand

they will fit onto any block as you adjust the brackets on the stand to suit it then tighten them up so it doesn't move

you'll be fine with all the cheapest stuff from machine mart. F7R's arent that heavy

you wont find many modern 4-pot weighing much over 150kg, even with everything fitted up

I went and bought one of these stands today.

Having never done this before, mating it up to the stand.

a) Does the flywheel need to come off? (Ive taken the clutch and cover off)
b) Is it necessary to have it fixed (engine) to all 4 arms on the stand? Cant seem to get em all to line up. And its not a perfect fit due to point a being raised....

I wanna be safe!!

Same here. Left the flywheel on mine and managed to get 4 bolts located with a bit of jostling.
