Hi all got a couple of questions regarding building my williams engine up.

1)First of all i got the complete head set and head bolts from an engine specialist local to me and the head set has F7R stamped on the packaging but the head bolts have 1764 F7P stamped on the packaging. I was just wondering if the headbolts are the same and can be used?

2)Secondly what is the correct tightening sequence for them as on my autodata disc there is a different sequence for the willy and valver engines and the one for the willy is like a novel and involves running the engine which i cant do as im building it up outside the car!

3)Thirdly there is no torque setting listed for the cam sprockets. If memory serves me correctly its around 95nm but i cant be sure if anybody can clear this up id be greatful

Cheers in advance people.

I can't imagine the head bolts being any different to be honest with you. I got my headgasket kit and headbolts from eBay and they were absolutely fine. Essentially they're the same engine with there only being minor differences in valve sizes and bottom end setup, but the bolts will be fine.

I used the autodata sequence when I did mine but skipped the part where you run the engine, loosen the headbolts and re-torque. I just built everything up, dropped the engine in, fired it up and let it run for a while, then that's it. Didn't touch the headbolts after that, and it put out a respectable 156bhp on a RR.

running the engine sounds a bit ridiculous , the torques and sequence should surely be the same as f7p engines .

Sequence is the same as F7P, and the cam sprockets are arround 55 nm.
