with the charge cooler setup im using it will be impossible for me to put it between tb and charge cooler, i can put it between turbo and charge cooler, ive been told its best to have it as close to the tb as possible, would it be ok being the other side? it will still let the pressure out?

ive been told it will kill the turbo if ran without a dump valve...

cant use a t piece, im going to have a 45 degree 63mm-51mm reducer straight from tb to charge cooler, can oviously put a t inbtween turbo and charge cooler

its a speculative thing the killing the turbo without DV, people say its fine, but frankly i don't trust the physics of ramming air back and forth at pressure across a highly balanced, delicate not to mention expensive fan. so for piece of mind i prefer to run a DV

just plumbed in a recirc flutter valve last night as well so the chavvy pttttssscccccchhhh is gone, happy days

if you were running 2 bar like a rally car you'd have a point

to my mind mate, any pressure is bad pressure, its going to wear stuff quicker and the more i can reduce that wear the better. its like saying a solid engine mount won't wear the other mounts quicker if you 'only drive it sensibly'

it may not be a fact but i rest easier having one fitted, compressor stall makes a little bit of me die inside when i hear it :(
