That's in to the head I think, at the gearbox end. There's actually 2 in that state, one above the other. One goes to the header tank.
Can't believe the garage didn't say anything about that being the possible leak. I'll have to have a chat with them.

Anyone know what those pipes are? I assume they're metal, but what fitting would they be to the block/head? Guy at work suggested some kind of pressure fitting.
go to the oil cooler,, i think!

One of them goes to the header bottle, the other to the heater matrix. Just wondering now if the metal pipes are part of the block/head or not.
its bolted on to the block, curves round and connects to the oil cooler, under the filter, well does on both of mine anyhow
any sign of dripping? from the pipes above?

theres a number of quick fix cheap options you can take if you can find the atual point of leak..
there are 2 kits which may help.:
leakfix
chemical metal
another kit is selotapes rad pipe repar set, contains two rolls of tape which bond to form a tough rubber shield.
you will need to sand the pipe down a bit to clean oil and get a good bonding surface.
i'd check that your pipes are not leaking. or coolant hasnt just dripped on to the piping first before you start to worry :-)

TA, you're at the wrong side of the engines mate. Those pipes are near the exhaust manifold.
Might try cleaning the pipes up a bit Gunner, see if I can see owt.
eeeeek! just checked mine! and its doing the same!
