Hi all,

Got some new, well used, rear brake disc/bearings to go on my valver but have a few questions regarding the rear hub nuts.

Firstly, what size socket do I need, as Haynes doesn't say.

And secondly, Haynes says that you should replace the hub nut, is this neccessary and if so where the is best place to get these, Renault? also any idea on cost.

Cheers,
Lee.

Can't quite remember but I think it's either a 27mm or 30mm

I've got no idea if renault sell them seperate tho :? I know they come with bearing kits, try an auto factors as well, might be a lot cheaper

That is a top post!

I guess the fronts and rears are the same as the ad doesn't specify?

Socket size is 30mm normally. Some hub nuts are 32mm though.

Glad to be of help :D

He has put brake drums in the specification, so I would guess rears - I would be very surprised however if front and back were a different thread.
