Existing tyres will be fine - just need to have correct tread depth, etc. as you would today. It will just apply to new tyres that can be sold once the new rules come in - need to have a minimum level of wet weather performance, low noise, etc. which MAY effect some of the more extreme road legal tyres available today.

Yey, more stupid rules and regulations making the world a less fun place to live.

faf, imo my r888's are significantly better in the wet than most 'budget' tyres and frankly a lot of the pricier ones aswell, road noise is however slightly elevated

col, i was interested as thinking of buying a set for when these die as can get a decent deal atm so was going to keep them on stock as it were

Hi guys, yea coops my lad said his r888 were better than his previous tyres,an was surprised how good they were in the wet, considering the lack of tread.

Price wise, Webby,my sons 13" wheel size for 888 cost £50 a corner delivery free (that was over xmas, speial deal)....off the internet 8)

yeah, 50 quid is good for a 13 i guess but 6- quid for a 15 to my door seems just as good all year  round
