i just bought one! seems like a nice little car anyone else had one before? dont think i'll have it long mind but its good for a giggle and i bought it on a whim anyway. lol

got it on the cheap cos the power steering rack is leaking juice so i'll get it fixed and see how i feel about it then!

I wouldn't be suprised if you kept it for a while.

I haven't driven one but always rated highly. Zollo has had a few and loves them.

well i was enjoying it.....its broken already 3 days in lol. wont start, not the battery and fuel is priming then it just makes the starter motor whirring noise. think its the crank sensor....maybe.

I have one of these, very capable cars. 165 bhp standard and handling to boot.

You got spark ?

Whrring be careful of , hope its not the cambelt, major common problem on the pugs.

no worries it was me being a turnip! i had just changed the key casing as the buttons had come off. turns out a small piece of retangular plastic is infact the thing that disengages your immobiliser! what a stupid idea! so put that in the new fob and hey presto it works again! it even got a free jump from my van before i worked out the problem.

cheers

they any quick? did that shock kill some brain cells? :P

yeh they are quite lively!! im waiting for this PAS ram to be mended so i can really put it through itsa paces without the fear of the steering seizing up! they've got a passive rear steer system for when your giving it the beans seems really cool.

dont worry im not on the change though still love my willy.....

Never driven a GTI-6, but owned an S16 (poor mans GTI-6) for a while before the Williams. Nice cars, bit too soft and heavy for me and not as fast as the Williams but the handling was fantastic and much more of an everyday car. Unfortunately mine was a bit of a lemon, everything went wrong with it so had to go, more down to the previous owner neglecting the car and not servicing it properly...

the misses has a 306 xsi, not as powerful/sporty as the gti-6, but a very comfortable car to drive/use etc.
