ok straight forward job , however in haynes manual it says to only
fully tighten (torque up) the arb bush clamps when the car is off the jack
and on its wheels .

anyone know the reason for this ?

all suspension bushes should be fully torque with the car sat on the wheels so not to add preload to the bushes.

but as normal most dont and i'm not sure it makes any difference in the real world especially as the anti roll bars end up under preload anyway
