Hello folks , joined up as ive recently purchased a 1.8 16 valve.

Looking for some tuning advice and ill need general advice for repairs and common problems too as its already got a few niggles, also its been messed with quite a bit by someone called BB tuning , which sounds like max power bhp mods but ill reserve judgement until i get it on the rr.

Ill be using search as much as possible but look out for n00b questions.

P.S im looking to contributing by becoming a paid member, will the guides section be much good to me only having a valver and not a willy.

Welcome mate, get paid up, the guides for the williams' are just as relavent to the valver as there's only slight differences between the 2 anyway :wink:

Welcome sunshine, BB- tuning usually pretty good guys ive heard used to do everythin with R5s initially then branched out. 8)

Hi , im from around the Walsall area, J9 ish off the M6.

If some of the guys who meet up wouldnt mind having a nosey under my bonnet and identifying any bodges one of the nights i would appreciate that. Ive got a bit of a list already that ill update you with in the projects or tech section :)

welcome!!! enjoy your stay! i used to take my williams to BB all the time for servicing work etc! know there stuff... they closed down for a while but have opened up again. use a different more local renault specialist now... by the way is your username wrong??? (did you hit the wrong key? i can change it if need be)

Hmm yeah BB are more a bolt on company these days but they did do a lot of work on clios back in the day, managed to get one of the first turbo clios done pulling about 215 - 220 bhp, so they know a bit about the cars :D

Welcome and as said earlier Valvers and williams are very similar and most of the guides and information apply to both the williams and 1.8 16v

bb used to be very reputable. i have had good and bad experiences with them, lately all bad tho :lol:
