I've had a look about and anything ftermarket appears that it may not be the correct length. Are these a Renault only item?

I've got genuine track tod ends, thats not what I'm after.

Its the track rods I want. I need the correct length williams items as I'm putting the williams widetrack onto my 5 gtt.

Genuine Renault are £70 a side, i went down there and got a quote from them yesterday. They come with track rod ends which is something I guess.

I use Clio 16v ones from ECP I think. There is an issue as they are shorter, but Ic ant remember if its the ends or the rods that are shorted, just means winding them out more. Some tracking places dont like this though.

Getting the rods themselves off from the steering rack is great fun :)

ECP supple the locking washers with the units, make sure you use them.

Does that mean it may be better to use williams track rod ends instead of valver ones on a manual rack if they're longer??

The clio 16v and williams track rod ends are the same part. The difference is made up by the track rods. I think the rack length is the same on manual and power steering racks. Its all down to the tracks rods to compensate for the various different track widths.
